Having heard good things about it, I decided to show the check-out 21.00 clock (at the Criterion Theatre in Santa Monica 6 men) of the new Dreamworks animated film How To Train Your Dragon … 3D. I thought it was good, not great … and not as funny or witty as the previous films Dreamworks MADAGASCAR, Shrek, Kung Fu Panda was, etc. However, excellent 3D and animation in particular, was a show … among the best I've ever seen.
HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON tells a sweet history of hiccups (Jay Baruchel), the sensitive, the son dry Stoick (Gerard Butler), a Viking, the commander of one of the rules of the village by the sea hiccup, but resourceful and inventive … is a failure on all things Viking. He has just not in him to fight and destroy the dragon that is destroyed constantly and RAID their village. Consequently, the whole village to see the Viking expelled Hiccup as unnecessary. That is, until one of his crazy inventions actually ends up. To his horror Hiccups begin to see the impossible / Catch / kill Night Dragon Fury … Hiccup, later called "toothless". At first, they take care with each other … even after the hiccups teeth is free of his case, they are friends … slowly and carefully. As their friendship develops, will change their lives … forever. Finally, make a hiccup choice … either dispose of the brutality, the dragon slayer mentality of the Vikings, or confront the head of the village and show them how to treat and love dragons. Not useful is his father stubborn, determined and a young warrior named Astrid (America Ferrera) … The fate of two dragons, and the people of his village in between the hands of hiccups … He must meet before they tear each other apart …
Written and team who previously brought us Disney Lilo & Stitch … Dean DeBlois and Chris Sanders, director DRAGON HOW YOUR train is a great story with a lot of heart. The news is very positive: be yourself. Try Not sure what you're not. Make love, not war, etc. .. The relationship between hiccups and toothless "is beautiful and feels very authentic. You end up looking around the two of them very much … almost as much as they love each other. I also enjoyed the relationship between girls and difficult Hiccup Astrid. The sequence where he won his most was very well done … On the negative side, I have trouble deal with the nickname Jay Baruchel Christian Slater had answered the voice of Jack Nicholson-like. I wish he would have mitigated a bit … or has some kind of effort, his voice sounds … make less irreverent, and sincere. As regards the film as a whole, was I wanted it to be funny … and wiser … best performance DreamWorks and Pixar Animation past compared. That, on its own merits HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON is still good enough … and children will love every time.
Dean Koontz novel, this would be recommended for the reader, first time?
I think Hideaway, Bath Place, Winter Moon, Darkfall, Tears Dragon Phantoms or the intensity … But I can not choose one … My first Bad Place, and my second (and preferred) was Tears Dragon, which I'm addicted to suggestions Koontz … Any?? (This is a man of 27 years)
It is bad enough, as written, than others.
